Athlete with joint pain

A joint is when two bones come together.  Our largest joints are the hip, knee and shoulder joints. In the human body, there are 360 joints with 32 in each upper limb and 31 in each lower joint.  Most athletes suffer from pain at their shoulder, hip or knee with less suffering at the elbow, wrist or ankle.  Any pain at a joint needs to be properly diagnosed to determine if surgery or non-surgical options are options.  Many times, both could be considered but at Remedy Sports and Regenerative Medicine we aim to heal our patients non-surgically. We feel it is important to share the options available with our patients to give them a remedy not a band-aid.
