Fitness is health and pain limits fitness. Our goal is to help you stay active for life to optimize your health long term.

Welcome to Remedy!

We are so excited you are seeking relief from your orthopedic pain and want to avoid surgery.  You have come to the right place!  Dr. Rolnik has been treating injured athletes and active people young and old for over 20 years for their musculoskeletal pain.  She applies an integrative approach using sound biomechanics, nutrition and regenerative options to help her patients return to living the life they love by doing the activities that bring joy!  Plus staying fit and active makes for a long,  healthy and happy life.

Scheduling your initial appointment

Please call the office to schedule an appointment with Dr. Rolnik or nutritionist Leasa Woods at 925-464-7278.  Alternatively you can schedule an in-person or telemedicine appointment via our online booking link.  If you have questions, feel free to submit your questions and information and we will contact you. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Prior to your first consultation

We request that all new patients complete their medical forms prior to your appointment to streamline you check in process. This will save you time and get you right in for your visit! Please be sure to bring any recent imaging discs and radiology reports plus operative reports or other pertinent medical data related to your condition with you to your appointment.  We can also request records from your doctor or radiology facility but this may delay your care.

For patients being seen for hip, thigh or knee complaints, we ask that you wear or bring your own shorts or wear loose pants.  For our female patients with a shoulder issue, consider wearing a sports bra or tank top for your comfort.

You will receive reminders via text or email.  Please let us know what you prefer.  We require 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel your appointment to avoid a no show fee of $50.  Dr. Rolnik sees many patients and when you cancel ahead of time we are able to accommodate another patient in pain. We appreciate your cooperation so we can help others.

Insurance and payment FAQ

At Remedy, our goal is to provide a superior patient experience by providing time, education, information and cutting-edge treatment options to help our patients live happy, pain-free living.  As a private practice, Remedy is not limited by the bureaucracy of larger practices or medical groups so anyone can been cared for here. All insurance plans require that your deductible be met prior to the insurance company paying for care you receive. For many of our active and healthy patients who don’t require many medical appointments or hospitalizations, the deductible is rarely met annually.  This means you pay cash up to your deductible no matter which physician cares for you.  The major difference between other medical practices and choosing Dr. Rolnik as your physician is that she spends ample time with you and approaches your overall treatment holistically. She treats you like family – literally!

For those with PPO insurance, this practice operates as an out of network practice. This means that we do not contract directly with insurance companies or limit your care based on their reimbursements. Keep in mind that your insurance benefits vary based on your PPO contract. Please contact your insurance company to verify your out of network benefits prior to coming in for care so you are well informed. Call the phone number on the back of your health insurance card. The health insurance representative will ask for your member ID number, group number and date of birth, and then will explain your coverage.

We also care for patients who don’t currently carry medical insurance, those looking for care outside of Kaiser, and HMO patients who are looking for a holistic, “big picture” doctor outside of their available HMO doctors. We do accept Medicare.  Payment is due after each appointment and can be made with cash, check, Venmo, HSA card or credit card.

We look forward helping you avoid surgery and get out of pain so you can stay active for life!
