AT REMEDY WE WORK FOR YOU NOT YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY!

We are a fee-for-service medical practice

At Remedy Sports and Regenerative Medicine our goal is to provide top notch personalized whole body care that goes beyond the standard physician visit.  Unfortunately in the current medical insurance arena, insurance companies and Medicare make providing the best care nearly impossible. For that reason, our practice has not contracted with commercial insurance companies or Medicare so we can provided quality time and personalized care for you.

Our practice is out-of-network (OON).  Some PPO patients have great benefits and we ask all patients who have a commercial PPO to confirm their benefits with their insurance carrier.  Our payment policy requires payment at the time of each appointment which will include the time spent with the physician plus any diagnostic testing, procedures or medications received.  We accept Cash, Personal Checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flex-Spending Account (FSA) cards, and debit cards.  Unfortunately nutrition counseling, though very important for overall health, is not a covered service for insurance companies.

Remedy will provide an invoice for you to send to your insurance company so your visit cost can apply to your deductible or if your deductible has been met you receive reimbursement. How much you will be reimbursed from your carrier depends on your insurance policy terms and deductibles but can be as much as 70-100% for PPO insurance once your deductible has been met for the calendar year.

Remedy does not accept Medicare insurance at this time.  As an opted-out practice, Remedy is prohibited from submitting a physician bill to Medicare.  Some senior patients carry two isolated insurance policies (not a supplement to Medicare) and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your non-Medicare insurance carrier (not valid for supplemental insurance based on Medicare rules).

We provide care to Kaiser, HMO and patients who have no insurance as well.   Some organizations do not offer the specialized services we feel are very helpful for joint, muscle, bone or soft tissue pain.  Our goal is to offer a remedy instead of a band-aid.
